Guided bat walk at Home Park

Join Thames Landscape Strategy for an enchanting spring evening exploring the secret world of bats in the beautiful grounds of Home Park at Hampton Court.

As dusk settles, we’ll take a gentle guided walk to discover the incredible species that emerge at twilight.

Led by the Thames Landscape Strategy team, this family-friendly walk will introduce you to the fascinating behaviour, ecology, and conservation of bats. They'll be using handheld bat detectors to listen to their ultrasonic calls and identify different species as they swoop, forage, and navigate through the night.
