From tech sessions to literary events, our libraries offer a diverse range of activities to engage residents of all ages.

Whether you're learning a language, looking for literary inspiration, or want a way to keep your kids busy, our libraries have something for everyone. Explore the exciting line-up of events and programs designed to foster learning, creativity, and community engagement.

IT taster sessions

From mastering the basics to navigating social media, our staff are here to guide you. Join our IT taster sessions to learn how to use the internet, navigate social media, how to online bank and more. 

Join a drop-in session:

  • Days: Every first and fourth saturday of the month
  • Time: 11am to 12pm
  • Location: Information and Reference Library, Old Town Hall, Whittaker Avenue, TW9 1TP

Teen author event - Nathanael Lessore

In celebration of Cover Story, Richmond Libraries’ awesome annual pick of the best teen reads for 11 to 14 year olds, author Nathanael Lessore will be talking about his latest books, Steady for This and King of Nothing. Join Nathanael for a lively talk and Q&A, followed by a book signing.

Lego club

Help your children explore their creativity with Lego and become a master builder! Join in the fun, design, and build amazing creations and try some Lego challenges. Bring along your enthusiasm and creativity and get ready to show off your creations. Children need to be accompanied by a parent or guardian.

Ham Library:

  • Days: Every second Saturday of each month

Your Health Online

If you need assistance learning how to book GP appointments and find information about health conditions, join the Your Health Online session. This free presentation, led by professional librarians, will get you started with using the NHS app to register with a GP, how to search the web for advice about health conditions and medications, and how to keep your data safe and spot scams.
