Small Business Saturday is on Saturday 6 December, so why not visit your local High Street and support your local, independent businesses this festive season?

Taking place on the first Saturday in December each year, Small Business Saturday UK is a national movement to spotlight the small businesses that make a big difference to our communities and economy.

We are thrilled to announce that Sheen Uncovered in East Sheen is one of 100 businesses chosen to take part in the Small Business Saturday campaign. Local independent shops like Sheen Uncovered offer one-of-a-kind goods and a personal shopping experience; much of what’s available in these shops is sourced and crafted locally. It’s also a great way to support  the local economy.

By shopping local this gifting season, you can also cut down on travel and delivery costs. VisitRichmond's #ShopLocal campaign will help you discover the vast selection available in our town centres and track down the hidden gems in your area.

Cast your vote for your favourite Christmas shop window 

With 119 entries, Richmond upon Thames is showcasing its festive spirit and creative flair with its Christmas Windows competition. From 1 to 19 December, help us pick the winner! Cast your vote online or by scanning a QR code in participating shop windows. Find out more about the competition.

The winner will be announced on 22 December.
