The Mayor regularly holds events to raise funds for the Mayor’s charities.

Mayor's Launch Reception

Join the Mayor of Richmond for a lovely early evening reception in the garden of Asgill House, Richmond on Friday 15 July 2022. The reception will be from 6 to 8pm. Tickets are £15 which includes drinks and canapes with a tour of the house and a raffle. All proceeds go to the Mayor's charity Ruils.

Mayor's Art Competition

Join us for the Mayor's Art Competition at Asgill House. Art sessions will take place on Saturday 30 July, 27 August, and 10 September between 11am and 2pm. The competition ends on Wednesday 21 September. The winning artwork will be the recipient of The Asgill Prize £500.00 (Sponsored by The Asgill House Trust). The artist and a guest will also be invited to The Mayor’s Charity reception at Asgill House held at the end of her term. Find out more information about the competition (pdf, 79 KB).

Make a donation

As well as attending a charity event, you can also donate to the Mayor’s charities by:

  • Visiting the Mayor's Office in York House to make a donation in person
  • Posting a cheque to the Mayor’s Office, made payable to ‘The Mayor’s Charities’

Thank you. Any donation is gratefully received and will be passed directly to the Mayor’s charities at the end of each municipal year.
