The Mayor regularly holds events to raise funds for the Mayor’s charities.

Mayor's Halloween Quiz

Join us for the Mayor's Halloween themed charity quiz in aid of the Mayor's charity Ruils. The quiz is open to teams of up to 10 people per team, and will take place on Friday 28 October 2022. The doors open at 7pm, and the quiz starts at 7.30pm. A buffet style supper will be served at each table. You are very welcome to come in fancy dress too! Note: the raffle and bar are cash only.

Mayor's Fish and Chip Cruise

Join the Mayor of Richmond for a scenic cruise aboard the Southern Belle along the Thames from St Helena Pier, Richmond on Wednesday 5 October 2022. Tickets are just £30, and include a fish and chip supper and a complimentary drink on arrival. The cruise will board at St Helena Pier, Richmond at 6pm, depart at 6.30pm and return at approximately 9.45pm.

Mayor's Art Competition

Join us for the Mayor's Art Competition at Asgill House. Art sessions will take place on Saturday 30 July, 27 August, 10 September, 1 October and 8 October between 11am and 2pm. The competition has been extended and the closing date is now Wednesday 26 October. The winning artwork will be the recipient of The Asgill Prize to inspire original painting and drawing celebrating Richmond’s Riverside Heritage £500.00 (Sponsored by The Asgill House Trust). The artist and a guest will also be invited to The Mayor’s Charity reception at Asgill House held at the end of her term. Find out more information about the competition.

Make a donation

As well as attending a charity event, you can also donate to the Mayor’s charities by:

  • Visiting the Mayor's Office in York House to make a donation in person
  • Posting a cheque to the Mayor’s Office, made payable to ‘The Mayor’s Charities’

Thank you. Any donation is gratefully received and will be passed directly to the Mayor’s charities at the end of each municipal year.
