Kneller Road, Nelson Road and Warren Road parking layout improvements

In October 2024, Traffic Management Orders (TMOs) were advertised, proposing a number of improvements to the layout of parking in this area. This is the formal consultation process that we are required to follow when proposing these schemes.

These improvements comprised new lengths of double yellow lines and the creation of new parking bays. The double yellow lines are to create safe passing areas and provide protection at junctions for pedestrian safety and vehicle accessibility, and the additional parking bays are to provide further capacity in the area.

Formal consultation

The consultation began on Thursday 10 October 2024 and ended on Friday 8 November 2024.

Results and decision

After considering the representations received, a report was compiled and the decision was made to implement the changes with minor revisions.

Implementation

We are now preparing to implement the scheme, and our aim is to do this in August/September 2025. We will add further updates here as appropriate.
