Instructions for online licensing applicants

Completing online

Before completing an online application form please check the relevant web page for details about the licence type you are applying for to ensure that this is the licence you require and to check on any local requirements that the London Borough of Richmond upon Thames may have.

Upload of attachments

Where an application form requires it, attachments can be uploaded to the application. The application will not be deemed complete until all submissions are received. It is the applicant’s responsibility to ensure that all necessary supporting documentation is available.

Payment of fees

All online forms have an online payment option available. Follow the relevant instructions when submitting the form.

How to apply

You can now use the Regulatory Services Hub to apply for a licence and submit your returns.

If you don't already have an account on the Regulatory Services Hub, create an account and verify your account by clicking the link in the email we sent you.

To apply for a licence:

  1. Sign in to the Regulatory Services Hub 
  2. Click ‘Licensing
  3. Click ‘Apply for a licence
  4. Choose Richmond from the list of councils
  5. Choose the relevant application form from the list
  6. Complete and submit your application
  7. Pay the fee (if applicable) when prompted after you submit your application

Checking for completeness

Once your application has been submitted and any fees have been received your application will be checked for completeness. Once your application has been identified as complete the application process will start the following day. You will be contacted by email confirming this.
