About the Community Conversation

We are developing the Community Conversation, piloted last year with ward meetings – to include not only the local meeting to meet your ward councillors but borough wide events, online opportunities and themed workshops.

The Council is also looking to develop a new ward-based budget. A budget to be spent on local projects or activities, informed by you.

The next round of ward Community Conversations – running from April to October – will provide the opportunity to start identifying local priorities and prepare the ground for the ward budgets to be introduced.

If you have particular issues you would like to be discussed at your ward conversation and you can’t attend the meeting you can submit an issue through communityconversations@richmond.gov.uk or raise it directly with your ward councillor.

We also want to hear your ideas about how we can reach residents who want to have a say online, using social media or by alternative methods. Please let us know by emailing communityconversations@richmond.gov.uk.

With a panel made up of ward councillors – chaired by the independent chair. Pre-submitted questions – moving to open floor.
