The Mayor regularly runs competitions for residents to enter.

Christmas Card Competition

Enter the Mayor and Leader's Christmas Card Competition for 2025. The competition is open to primary school children aged five to 11 years old.

The winner of the competition will have their design made into a real card and the Mayor and Leader will send these out to their official mailing list.

Entry requirements:

• Children must either live or go to primary school in the borough
• Entries should be A5 in size (you can fold an A4 sheet in half) 
• It must be an original image
• Please use colours

On the back of each child's entry, please include their:

• Name
• Age
• School or home address

This means we can notify them if they submit a winning entry.

Closing date for entries is 10am on Monday 17 November 2025.
