Every year we hold memorial services at our cemetery chapels to help people pay respect to their loved ones. These services are open to all members of the public.
The Minister will read the names of those you would like to remember during each service. If you would like to be involved in these services, for example by singing or reading a poem, please get in touch.
|Sunday 25 November||Teddington Cemetery Chapel||11am||Morning memorial service|
|Sunday 25 November||Twickenham Cemetery Chapel||2pm||Afternoon memorial service|
|Sunday 2 December||East Sheen Cemetery Chapel||11am||Adults memorial service|
|Sunday 2 December||East Sheen Cemetery Chapel||1.30pm||Children and babies memorial service|
During the service there will be a period of personal reflection. The names of those we wish to remember will be read out by the officiant taking the service. Please give the names of those you wish to be remembered to the staff member at the chapel door.
You will be invited to place a personal message on the Christmas tree if you wish to do so, and tea lights will also be available for you to light and leave burning throughout the service.
This year we are inviting families to bring a helium balloon with them. We shall gather outside the chapel at the end of the service and release them in memory of those who we are thinking of at this time of year.
As every year we shall be supporting various charities. Please feel free to show your support as you leave the chapel. Various collection containers will be available.
Please contact the Cemetery Office if you wish to take part in a memorial service, or you would like more information.
