Christmas tree recycling

This service is free and you do not require a garden waste contract to have your tree collected and recycled.

Check tree collection day

Live in a flat?

If you live in a block of flats we ask you take your Christmas tree to a drop-off point. If this is not possible we will collect trees left in your communal waste area.

All trees must be presented on the highway where it is safe to do so, or on the property edge adjacent to the highway.

We will not collect your tree if it is:

  • Still decorated
  • Plastic/not real
  • In soil
  • In a pot or standĀ

Drop off

Alternatively you can take your tree to the Re-use and Recycling Centre, Townmead Road (open throughout the festive period, except 25 and 26 December 2018).
