The Forum is an open meeting attended by voluntary sector organisations, Council representatives and other stakeholders. It welcomes representatives from across the sector and is an opportunity to exchange information about areas of interest and promote good communication between the Council and local voluntary and community groups.
The next Voluntary Sector Forum on Wednesday 4 September 2019 will be in two parts.
Where you can hear updates from the Council and others on topical matters, as well as the open forum where there is an opportunity to exchange information with other organisations.
An informal networking event, where we encourage you to display materials about your organisation. Councillors and Officers from across the Council will be invited to attend. For the Market Place, we would also like to extend the invitation to your Trustees.
The Voluntary Sector Forum and Market Place event will be hosted by Cllr Michael Wilson, Vice-chair, Finance, Policy and Resources Services Committee (Spokesperson for Communities, Equalities and the Voluntary Sector).
Please contact Harriet Steele, Senior Project Support Officer (Voluntary Sector) at firstname.lastname@example.org for more information on the Forum events.
