Pool programmes and admissions

The pool programmes show the available lanes or areas of the pools at each time of day. Admission to the pool is subject to certain conditions.

COVID-19 Update

Following Government advice, our Borough Sport and Fitness Centres are all closed. We do not currently have an agreed timeline for re-opening. Further updates will be published on our website and via social media as soon as this situation changes.

Programme

Lane swimming is available with a range of slow, medium and fast paced lanes. However, general swimming is not available during club sessions.

We reserve the right to alter the swimming programme when necessary. Please note, there may be changes to the programme due to school holidays or swimming gala events.

Formal swimming instruction may only be provided via Teddington Pools and Fitness Centre instructors. Tuition provided by other individuals is not permitted.

Advance notice of pool programme changes

Please note the following planned closures and changes to our pool programmes:

  • Wednesday 11 March 2020, 1.00 to 3.30pm - Main and learner pools closed for school gala
  • Wednesday 18 March 2020, 12.45 to 3.15pm - Main and learner pools closed for school gala
  • Friday 10 April 2020 - Centre closed for Good Friday public holiday
  • Sunday 12 April 2020 - Easter Sunday, Centre open from 8am to 4pm
  • Monday 13 April - Centre closed for Easter Monday public holiday
  • Wednesday 6 May 2020, 12.45 to 3.15pm - Main and learner pools closed for school gala

Admissions

Admission to the pool will be granted under the following conditions:

  • Last admission to the pool will be 30 minutes before closing time
  • Spectators must use the viewing gallery and are not allowed on poolside
  • Pushchairs are not permitted in the changing rooms
  • Photography is not permitted
  • Please use the toilets and showers before entering the pools

For safety reasons, children under eight years of age must be accompanied in the water by a responsible person aged over 16. Refer to our child admission policy (pdf, 100 KB) to find out more.
