Whitton Central (Zone WC) CPZ Review

We are carrying out a review of the Whitton Central Controlled Parking Zone (CPZ), Zone WC.

Background

Zone WC was introduced in 2020 and currently operates:

• Monday to Friday - 10am to 2pm
• Event days - 11am to 11pm

Existing Zone WC

In December we consulted all properties within Zone WC on how it has been operating since implementation. Read the letter distributed to all properties in the zone.

The results of this consultation carried out with properties in the existing Zone WC area showed no support to make any changes to the CPZ’s operational hours/days.  As a result, the CPZ will continue to operate 10am to 2pm, Monday to Friday and 11am to 11pm on Event Days.

Possible extension

As part of the review and also in December 2025, we consulted properties outside the existing Zone WC’s boundary on the possibility of joining it. Read the letter distributed to properties outside the zone.

The results of this consultation showed insufficient support to extend Zone WC.   As a result, there will be no extension to Zone WC progressed at this time.
