Primary school competition

Design a flag to promote our commitment to climate change. Entries for the competition have now been closed.

About the competition

In line with our Climate Change Strategy, we are launching a flag design competition to primary school students in the borough. The winning design will be announced in mid to late October 2019 and displayed on the Civic Centre flagpole in Twickenham. The winner will be invited to a special flag ceremony with the Mayor of Richmond.

Children aged 5 to 11 years old that live and/or go to school in the borough can take part. We have also set up activity spaces at selected libraries in the borough for you to work on your flag design.
