Gaia artwork comes to the Landmark Arts Centre this June

Community news on behalf of Landmark Arts Centre | 24 May 2023

Luke Jerram’s Gaia is a new, awe-inspiring artwork piece which will be unveiled at The Landmark Arts Centre on 16 June until 2 July 2023.

Measuring seven metres in diameter and suspended inside the Landmark Arts Centre, Gaia features high-resolution NASA imagery of the earth’s surface and features surround sound composition by BAFTA award-winning composer, Dan Jones.

The incredible work is a ‘must see’ part of the exciting new Arts & Ideas Festival which takes place across the Borough of Richmond upon Thames.

The exhibition will include late-night viewings, music concerts, family and infants' activities, yoga classes, school visits, specialist talks, plus dedicated relaxed performance times for those who need them.

Gaia has been created in partnership with the Natural Environment Research Council (NERC), Bluedot, and the UK Association for Science and Discovery Centres.

Tickets are free and available to book online from the Landmark Arts Centre.
