Local charity receives donated gifts for children

The Extra Mile recently received lovely dolls which were donated but did not have any clothes. Help was at hand from a group based in Farnham who knitted plenty of outfits, plus gave each doll a bag with a change of clothes.

The Extra Mile support health professionals, social workers and charities provide essentials for children who are in need. The charity also provide support for service users who require help during the cost of living.

The Hampton-based charity supply nappies, clothes, buggies, cots and more. The charity can also access generic school uniform items. The Extra Mile work with food banks, hygiene banks, Stripy Stork and Project Linus, who donate lovely handmade quilts.
