Have your say on the Children and Young People's Plan

4 May 2023

We are currently drafting our new Children and Young People's Plan for 2023-28 and want to ensure that the voice of the children and young people within the borough is the central focus.

By listening to a range of children and young people within the borough through a series of surveys and focus groups, we have outlined the main priorities areas.

Among the priorities likely to feature in the plan are:

  • Health and wellbeing (including mental health)
  • Transport
  • Safety
  • Climate and environment
  • Education and skills
  • Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND)
  • Social and Cost of living

The consultation's findings will help shape the new strategy and set out the actions we will take to make this borough a safer and more enjoyable place to live in.

We want to hear from all children and young people who live, study and work in the borough as well as parents, carers, and guardians.
