Lego therapy at Richmond & Hillcroft Adult & Community College

10 May 2021

From September 2021, Richmond & Hillcroft Adult & Community College will use Lego as a teaching and therapy tool for students with disabilities and learning difficulties.

Did you know that working with Lego can develop teamwork, social, language and fine motor skills, problem solving, mathematics and self-confidence, while lowering anxiety and stress?

With so many benefits, Richmond & Hillcroft Adult & Community College (RHACC) are planning to use Lego as a teaching and therapy tool for students with disabilities and learning difficulties from September 2021.

But to provide this enriching and innovative learning, they need bricks! If you have any Lego and/or Duplo bricks that you would be willing to donate, please bring them to their Parkshot Campus, TW9 2RE which is only a short walk from Richmond station and high street.

If you’d like to learn more about RHACC’s work with students with disabilities and learning difficulties, or the College as a whole, visit the RHACC website.
