The Board of Trustees of the Museum of Richmond are looking to recruit a new Chair to lead the Board and the museum in its next phase of development.

The Chair plays a key role, ensuring that the museum is well governed and shaping its future direction and development in line with its current five-year strategy.

The Museum of Richmond is an independent local history museum which cares for and gives access to the rich history of Richmond. The museum's home is the Old Town Hall, opened in 1893 in the centre of Richmond, from where it provides free permanent displays, temporary exhibitions, learning workshops and a programme of events.

In addition to duties as a Trustee, the role will entail approximately 8 to 10 hours a month on average.

For full details and info on how to apply please visit the museum's website and download the Information Pack.

If you wish to apply for the post, please send an email to trusteemusofrich@gmail.com for an application form.

Applications close on Thursday 6 April, with interviews to be held on Monday 17 April.
