‘I Love You, Mum – I Promise I Won’t Die’ is a powerful verbatim play by award-winning playwright Mark Wheeller. The live theatre performance takes place at Waldegrave School, Fifth Cross Road, Twickenham, TW2 5LH on Monday 20 March at 6pm.
This event is hosted by drug education charity The Daniel Spargo-Mabbs Foundation and funded by the Richmond Voluntary Fund.
The play tells the story of Dan’s joyful life and tragic death, as part of the range drug education resources and support they have developed.
The live performance will be followed by a mini workshop from Anjali Jayanti, one of the DSM Foundation's drug educators. Tim Spargo-Mabbs, Dan's dad and co-Founder of the DSM Foundation, will share the wider work and plans of the charity and the vital importance of evidence-based drug education for all young people.
The event is free and you can reserve a spot online.
