Have your say on order renewal to protect our parks and open spaces

2 June 2023

The Council are seeking to renew the current Public Space Protection Orders (PSPOs) for another three years.

We are inviting residents to have their say on the proposed renewal of PSPOs, which aim to address anti-social activities and dog control in public spaces.

Since the renewal of the PSPOs in 2020, the borough’s Park Enforcement team have issued 652 Fixed Penalty Notices (FPNs)

The existing PSPO orders provide the Council power to tackle problem behaviour to help ensure our parks, open spaces and cemeteries can be enjoyed by all.

The public consultation opens from Friday 2 June with the closing date on Sunday 2 July.

For further information or to provide feedback please contact parks@richmond.gov.uk or 0208 891 1411.
