Richmond Council is once again flying the Union Flag above York House

To mark Queen Elizabeth II’s Platinum Jubilee, Richmond Council is once again flying the Union Flag above York House.
Cllr Gareth Roberts, leader of Richmond Council, said:
“This weekend is a historic occasion as we celebrate 70 years of Her Majesty’s reign, and it’s only right to mark the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee with a brand new flag pole on top of York House. After decades of just having the flag pole outside of the Civic Centre, the Union Flag will fly above York House throughout the long weekend for passers-by to see. I hope everyone has a wonderful time celebrating over the long bank holiday!”
