The 'Digital Employability' course will teach jobseekers a number of key employability skills and tips to help you find your next job whether you are currently unemployed or seeking.
Courses available for residents include 'Your skill set and transferable skills', 'Improving your speaking skills' and an 'Introduction to Social Media'.
The 'Your skill set and transferable skills' course is designed to help you discover the full range of skills you have developed and how to use this information to apply for jobs and be confident at interview. The 'Improving your speaking skills' course is for everyone who wants to feel more confident about speaking in public, whether online or face-to-face. There are a number of techniques you can learn to make you more confident in these situations.
The 'Introduction to Social Media' course will help participants to understand the value of social media in providing a range of tools to help you back into work. You will learn in a fun, informative, hands-on way how set up a LinkedIn account and populate a basic profile.
