Community news on behalf of Richmond Carers Centre | 3 February 2022

Richmond Carers Centre are currently recruiting within their Adult Carers Support Team for two roles, Adult Carers Support Worker and Adult Carers Activities Coordinator.

Richmond Carers Centre provides information, advice and support for carers aged over 18 and services for young carers aged 5-18 years living or caring for someone in Richmond upon Thames.

As an Adult Carers Support Worker you’ll be part of the Adult Carer Support Team at Richmond Carers Centre. You will provide carers with advice, information and emotional support either face-to-face, via email and through the dedicated telephone support line. Much of your work will involve actively listening to carers and formulating packages of support.

As an Adult Carers Activities Coordinator, you’ll be part of a small dedicated team and directly deliver the leisure break activity programme. You will plan, deliver, promote and review a programme of activities for adult carers, including outreach activities and leisure events, as well as group work to help enhance carers’ health and wellbeing.
