Garner and Hancock make donation to The Mulberry Centre

Community news on behalf of The Mulberry Centre | 7 February 2022

Garner & Hancock Solicitors of Old Isleworth recently presented a cheque for £300 to staff at The Mulberry Centre. The money they donated was ‘saved’ by not sending Christmas cards.

The Mulberry Centre is the only organisation locally providing information and support services for anyone affected by cancer, including those with a diagnosis, carers, family members, and bereaved.

This year is the 21st birthday of The Mulberry Centre. Since 2001, it has provided services and support to more than 15,000 people and holds the Macmillan Quality Environment Mark Award for excellent facilities.

In 2021, the volunteers received The Queen’s Award for Voluntary Service, the highest award a voluntary group can receive in the UK. Most recently, the Centre won the Hounslow Business Award for Best Charity in 2020/21.

Garner & Hancock have been working with them for the last two years providing free legal advice to The Mulberry Centre’s clients and running workshops and webinars on Wills, Lasting Powers of Attorney, and Inheritance tax.
