Children who receive free school meals in Richmond upon Thames will have the chance to take part in Achieving for Children’s free programme of activities during the Christmas school holidays.

Children who receive free school meals in Richmond upon Thames will have the chance to take part in Achieving for Children’s free programme of activities during the Christmas school holidays.

The FUEL (Feed Ur Everyday Lives) programme gives completely free access to holiday clubs, sports groups, play sessions and more. Activities can include music production, podcasting, dance and football. A healthy lunch is provided to everyone taking part.

Children must be aged 5 to 16 years old and be eligible for free school meals to take part in the programme.

Cllr Penny Frost, Chair of the Council’s Education and Children’s Service Committee, said:

“FUEL is a fantastic opportunity to keep young people active, healthy and entertained over the Christmas holiday. AfC works with a range of partners across the borough to deliver its free programme of activities so that there is something for everyone.”
