Catch up with road out of lockdown business briefings

12 April 2021

Last week, hundreds of businesses attended a series of virtual briefings to find out more about the latest Government guidance on the road out of lockdown.

Four briefings were held for businesses in the Retail, Beauty/Close Contact, Office-based and Hospitality industries. Hosted by the Food and Safety and Trading Standards officers for Richmond, Merton and Wandsworth councils, the events gave business owners/managers, an opportunity to find out more about the latest rules, what they need to do to keep their staff and customers safe, and understand what support is available to help them. If you missed the briefings, you can view them online.

Nick Steevens, Head of Regulatory Services Partnership, said:

'We want all businesses to reopen successfully – so that both their staff and customers are safe and we reduce the spread of coronavirus.

'We know that the rules and guidance have changed a lot over the pandemic, and for businesses this can be confusing. I hope that these seminars are helpful to any business needing clarification or signposting to more information.

'If any businesses have any questions or need further help – our door is always open'.
