Village Plans - events

As part of the next phase of the Village Planning process, we are hosting a programme of Question Time events.

Question Time

Residents will be able to quiz the Leader and Cabinet Members about priorities for their local area and hear about future collaboration opportunities with the Council and other local organisations.

Details for the first four events are below. Further events in other villages will be announced shortly.

Submit your question in advance

The start of each event will be an opportunity for attendees to meet councillors. This will follow by a short presentation from the Panel on Village Planning and local priorities. Following this will be the Question Time itself.

To ensure that a spread of topics are discussed on the night, you can submit questions in advance. These will be covered in the first 45 minutes of the event. The second hour will be opened to the floor to allow questions on other topics. An independent chairperson will host each event.

We will only accept questions about issues which impact the village hosting the Question Time.

You can submit more than one question, however you will only be able to ask one. A member of the Village Planning team will email you one week before the event to confirm your question.

You must ask your question at the event in person or nominate a delegate to ask this on your behalf.

If you are unable to attend, each event will be streamed live on our Facebook page and you can tweet your questions during the event at @LBRUT on Twitter using #VillageQT.
