Adults Workforce Development Team

The Adults Workforce Development Team is a part of Service Development which is located in Commissioning Care Services, part of the Adult and Community Services Directorate. We are located at the Civic Centre, Twickenham. Most of our training events are held in the Borough.

Our aim

“We aim to provide Learning and Development opportunities for statutory agencies and those in the private and voluntary sectors to enable them to work together to improve the quality and delivery of service to service users, their carers and local communities.”

Training will ensure the specific needs of people with mental health problems, dementia, communication difficulties, sensory loss, learning disabilities, physical disabilities, neurological disabilities and serious illness are addressed within the content of the training and where necessary develop additional specialist courses.
