Next week (17-24 November) is National HIV Testing Week and the Council is calling on people in the borough who may be at risk to get themselves checked.
Anyone who lives in Richmond upon Thames can get a free, fast, confidential HIV test with results in 20 minutes.

Around one in four people with HIV do not know that they are living with HIV, partly because it is not always accompanied by obvious symptoms. Men who have sex with men (MSM) and black African people are the two groups that continue to carry a disproportionate burden of the HIV epidemic in England.
HIV tests are available without appointment at any of the following local hospitals:
