Release Date: 19 November 2019
Come along to the first session of a new monthly reading group this Wednesday at 2.30pm.
There is no need to read anything beforehand, simply show up and enjoy a cup of tea or coffee whilst listening to or reading a selection of non-fiction material.
The group will meet every third Wednesday of the month at the Information and Reference Library, Old Town Hall, Whittaker Avenue, Richmond, TW9 1TP.
It is free to join and finishes at 4pm.
Amanda Stirrup, Head of Libraries, said:
"It is no secret that loneliness effects millions of people in the UK. A reading group is a great way of meeting new people and sharing an interest in a relaxed environment.
"There is no pressure to read anything, so if you enjoy natural history, factual information, biographies or true life, why not come along and take part!"
