Life drawing to Renaissance art – something for everyone at Orleans House Gallery

Workshops in oil painting, acrylics, community art, life drawing, talks and more, are all part of the new Autumn adult art programme at Orleans House Gallery.

The new packed programme has now launched, with highlights including life drawing classes, talks on modern thinkers, expressionism and impressionism in acrylics workshop, an introduction of oil painting and a workshop introducing black figures in European Renaissance art.

In addition, the autumn ‘Talk and Draw’ series commences where there will be visual art and conversational sessions for people with dementia and their carers.

Cllr David Linnette, Richmond Council Cabinet Member for Culture, Sport and the Voluntary Sector, said:

“There is really something for everyone in our adults Autumn arts programme. For those who are just dabbling with art, amateur artists or for those more experienced.

“All of the workshops are affordable and are based at Orleans House Gallery. A beautiful location to produce beautiful creations.”
