Stables Gallery to sparkle with new exhibition

Release Date: 29 November 2017

A sparkling new exhibition of kiln-formed glass will be on display at The Stables Gallery from 7 December 2017 to 21 January 2018.

The ‘Just Glass’ exhibition returns to Twickenham for another year with art lovers invited to see how the artists’ use of the transition of glass from solid to liquid and back to solid, have created a stunning range of decorative art from sculpted pieces to wall-hangings.

Additionally, the glassmakers involved with the Stables Gallery exhibition will be offering free weekend tours throughout the exhibition.

Cllr David Linnette, Cabinet member for Culture, Sport and the Voluntary Sector said:

“This is another outstanding exhibition returning to the Borough. Art lovers will not only be able to view the array of work on display but have an opportunity to purchase some glass art for their homes or workplaces.

“It’s fantastic to have the artists on hand to lead the tours, answer questions and give first-hand accounts of what it’s like to work with glass. I encourage you all to come along.”

Admission is free. Please contact Doug Goodmam on 07958 704969 or by emailing for further information.
