The young squad competed well throughout the day and a third place finish in the boys time trial helped propel Team Richmond up the rankings. With all results combined, Richmond finished in 10th place in the overall standings.

Meanwhile 12 youngsters took to the water in the sailing competition at Queen Mary’s Sailing Club. The races were split across the two days with Team Richmond competing in nearly all the events including:

  • The Hansa 303 – for those with Learning or Sensory Impairment
  • Pico, Topper (Male)
  • Laser Radial (Female and Male)

  • Feva, Topper (Female)

The highlights of the weekend would come on the Sunday, with the Female Topper finishing in 5th, the Hansa 303 PI securing silver medals and the Feva pair winning Gold!

The top 8 results combined to lift Team Richmond into 5th place at the end of the competition.
