Another big night at this year’s Pink Proms saw revellers dance the night away in their seats and down the aisles at a local theatre to the sounds of Gaga Gold, Madonna Mash up and In the Navy.
They came, they saw, they conquered and another highly successful, if not equally as flamboyant Pink Night at the Proms raised a staggering £451.38 for The Albert Kennedy Trust.
Hosted by the Richmond / Wandsworth and Kingston Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual and Transgender Support Groups (LGBT), the evening was held at its traditional surroundings at the Normansfield Theatre in Teddington on Saturday. An impressive 60 strong audience toe-tapped the night away to sounds from the London Gay Symphonic Winds.
Richmond Council’s Deputy Mayor, Cllr Kate Howard, said:
“A huge thanks to everyone who came out to support another terrifically successful Pink Proms celebrating LGBT History Month. It’s always a wonderfully well-received event by people from across the borough and beyond and this year was no exception.”
