A spotlight was cast on the musical and drama skills of the borough’s residents and some much needed money for charity at this year’s Mayor’s Talent Show.

An evening of first-class entertainment was enjoyed by more than 50 guests who flocked to the Normansfield Theatre in Teddington to enjoy Saturday’s talent showcase. A stellar line-up of local acts for the whole family featured Mimi, Lily, Ronnie & Aquarium Drinker from the Basement Door, Richmond Youth Brass Band & Saphire Brass from the Richmond Music Trust.

Richmond's Mayor, Cllr David Linnette, said:

“The show was truly memorable, everyone had a great time and we raised lots of money for charity in one fell swoop. It’s always a great laugh every year, this one was no exception and it was an honour to host the evening as Mayor. Thank you to everyone who came along to support the event.”

A total of £600 was raised at the bash for the Mayor’s chosen charity for the year, the Integrated Neurological Services (INS).
