Autumn sports programme jam-packed with sporting fun

As the summer holidays are quickly coming to an end, the Council’s sports centres have launched their Autumn Sports and Fitness programme and it's jam-packed with activities.

The programme is full of courses for both adults and juniors and include a variety of activities from ballet, trampolining, karate, gymnastics, taekwondo, badminton, judo, roller skating, street dance, basketball, football, tennis and to squash.

In addition, by joining Feel Good Fitness you can have access to over two hundred fitness classes, four pools and five state-of-the-art gyms.  Fitness programmes will involve specially tailored services for those new to exercise and regular instructor led abdominal training sessions.

Feel Good Fitness has a range of membership options, including a special discount for two people joining who live at the same address.

Courses are available at Shene Sports and Fitness Centre, Hampton Sports and Fitness Centre, Whitton Sports and Fitness Centre and Teddington Sports Centre. Go online now to locate your nearest sports centre and find out what sporting opportunities are available!

Cllr David Linnette, Richmond Council Cabinet Member for Sports, said:

“With the summer holidays coming to an end, many of us will now be looking at some healthy options to try and burn off some of the holiday ‘excess’.

“Why not sign up for one of our Sports and Fitness courses or a Feel Good Fitness membership. They are fun, help you learn something new and will help get you get active, fit and trim this Autumn.”
