Release Date: 25 April 2017
The natural habitat of Orleans House Gallery will come alive over the Bank Holiday weekend with a ‘Springtime Safari’ for children and families.
Springtime Safari brings wildlife and people together through environmental education. Through a series of creative activities, attendees are inspired to get to know the creatures they live around and learn how they can be protected and supported.
The free event will take place in the grounds of Orleans House Gallery on Sunday 30 April.
Special attractions include a mini safari – bringing children face to face with nature - including hedgehogs, bees, invertebrates and more, a nature inspired arts and crafts workshop and outdoor story time.
This event is a partnership project between South West London Environment Network and Richmond Council’s art service.
