Community Heroes 2020

In response to the COVID-19 pandemic, the 2020 Community Heroes recognition programme will be run in two stages. The awards programme will be launched in Autumn 2020.

Throughout Summer 2020, we want to hear your lockdown stories.

Were you a frontline worker who played a role in the COVID-19 response? Did you play a part in your community by volunteering? Are you one of our many voluntary groups who stepped up to support those most in need?

We want to hear from you.

You can either submit your own story, or the story of someone you know who is a COVID-19 Community Hero. Stories will be shared on our accounts.

There a few ways you can share your story:

Social Media: please use #RichmondCovidHeroes:

  • Video: film a short video clip, ideally only 1 minute (no more than 2 minutes)
  • Audio:record a short audio clip, ideally only 1 minute (no more than 2 minutes) along with a photo

Email to campaigns@richmond.gov.uk:

  • Written: no more than 200 words, along with a photo

Please send all submissions by Friday 5 September
