Young People's Drug and Alcohol Support Service

Richmond Young People's Drug and Alcohol Support is a team of experienced professionals from all different backgrounds and training consisting of: drugs workers, youth workers, outreach workers, counsellors and psychotherapists.

  • We are safe, friendly and approachable. We don’t preach and we don’t make things up.
  • We are experienced. We have helped and supported people in all kinds of situations. Many of us have life experience which helps us understand.
  • We are qualified. Every worker is qualified to at least degree level or equivalent, and several have gone onto further studies in youth work, social work, nursing, counselling or psychotherapy.
  • We are professional. We aim to constantly improve what we do, so we keep up to date with what works, do lots of training, and get professional support for ourselves.
