Pest Control
In residential premises
The council provides a free (contracted out) service for dealing with some pest problems such as rats and mice in residential premises in the borough. We provide this service with a pest control contractor. Our current contractor is Quickil.
If you are on certain means tested benefits there is also a free service covering bed bugs and fleas.
The relevant means tested benefits are:
- Income Support
- Guaranteed Pension Credit
- Income based job seekers allowance
- Council Tax Benefit
- Housing Benefit
- Employment and Support Allowance (ESA) means tested element
If you are not in receipt of these benefits you should contact a pest control company in Yellow Pages or your local Thompson Directory.
We also offer advice over the phone to residents about other pests. You can ring Pest Control on 020 8891 7800 or email us at residentialeh@richmond.gov.uk
