Author event at Richmond Library
Local author V.R. Main will be talking about her debut novel ‘A woman with no clothes on’ which won the Trafalgar prize for work in progress. Set in the 1860s, it tells of the relationship of painter Edouard Manet with eighteen-year old Parisian Victorine Meurent, the subject of his paintings.

A talk at Kew Library
Christine Dilwell will talk on the historic houses of Hounslow Borough and their relationship to many noted historical figures.

Recycling events at your local library
The Council's Recycling Team and the Sustainability Unit will be attending various libraries across the borough. The team will be on hand to answer all your recycling questions and offer tips on how you can become "greener" by changing everyday habits to reduce waste and save energy.

Most libraries also hold monthly bounce and rhyme sessions for pre-school children, called Tiny Teddies. These sessions are great fun and include songs, rhyme and stories. All these activities are free of charge.
