Supported living and accommodation

There are a number of ways that people with a learning or physical disability, sight or hearing loss, or mental health needs can be supported with their daily living.

  • Supported tenanciesAccommodation and adapted properties are available, with help and support if needed, for people with a learning disability or mental health needs.
  • Help with day to day livingHelp is available for people with a learning or physical disability, sight or hearing loss, or mental health needs, who need extra support to live independently in their own home.
  • Residential placementsResidential placements are available for people with a learning or physical disability, who need more support than can be provided at home.
  • Shared Lives SchemeA flexible care and support service offered in the home of a trained Shared Lives Carer.
  • Shared Lives Dementia SchemeSupport for people with dementia in the home of a Shared Lives Dementia Scheme Carer.
