• All developers are advised, in line with policy DM SD1 of the Development Management Plan, from 1st January 2013, new homes (subject to Code for Sustainable Homes assessment) will need to achieve a minimum of 40% reduction in carbon dioxide emissions over Building Regulations 2010. (This is an increase to the existing 25% reduction requirement).
