Free evening tours of the Face and Figure of Shakespeare exhibition are being held at Orleans House Gallery in Twickenham next Friday, May 15.
Curator Marcus Risdell will guide visitors through the displays at 6pm and 7pm as part of the Museums at Night programme. The exhibition is supported by Richmond Council as part of its commitment to the arts.
The gallery’s Karmarama café will also be open until 8.30pm on the day for people to discuss the exhibit, which focuses on how Britain’s 18th century sculptors invented Shakespeare as a national hero.
The exhibition runs until Sunday, June 7, and the gallery’s usual opening hours are Tuesday – Saturday 1pm – 5.30pm, and Sunday 2pm – 5pm. For more details, call 020 8831 6000 or visit our Orleans House Gallery pages.
