How can we cut carbon footprint?

Richmond Council and Richmond Environment Network are inviting people to discuss different ways to can take action on climate change at a meeting this month.

The event will take place at York House in Twickenham on Monday, May 18 at 7pm. Visitors can find out what the Council is doing to help reduce the borough’s carbon footprint and its plans for the future.

The Council is keen to hear from borough-based groups on the support they need to promote energy efficiency and climate change initiatives.

During the two hour event, participants can take part in two of three workshops, including creating a low carbon zone and setting up a climate fund and general climate change initiatives.
