Training and Support (provided by Richmond Council for Voluntary Service)
The London Borough of Richmond upon Thames has recently undertaken a consultation exercise on the priorities for commissioning and providing adult services (Universal and Preventative services) and is now in the process of drawing up a list of services that will be commissioned within the next 12 months.
In order to assist any organisation that may be unfamiliar with the commissioning and contracting/tendering process or want to refresh, Richmond Council for Voluntary Service (RCVS) is working with the Council on a programme of training and support that will be delivered during the next few months.
A series of training sessions are planned throughout October and November
(pdf, 50KB) to cover three areas around commissioning.
