Strategic Principles

For further information please see our Parks and Open Spaces Strategic Principles.
Volunteer work
Volunteering is great way to have fun, meet new people and provides an ideal opportunity to learn new skills. There are over 78 local environmental groups that can be found within the borough, many of them do practical sessions on some of the 100+ Parks and Open Spaces within Richmond Borough.
Alternatively there are other ways in which you can support your local groups such as fund raising or publicity, you don't need any specific skills, just a willingness to get involved! To find out more, look at the South West London Environment Network (SWLEN) website for details of your local group and how you can get involved. To find out what’s on, see the SWLEN Events Calendar.
