Here are the key dates in the secondary schools addmission process.
September and October 2011
State maintained schools and academy open days and evenings. Prospectuses are available for collection from the schools and academies at these events.
Friday 26 October 2011
Last day before half-term: if you could apply by this date, it will maximise the time available for your data to be verified.
Monday 31 October 2011
Closing date for applications.
Thursday 1 March 2012 - National Offer Day
- Outcome letters will be sent by first-class post. Letters should be received on 2 March.
- Online applicants can log on from 5pm to find out their results.
Friday 16 March 2012
- Closing date by which acceptance of a school or academy place must be sent using the reply slip.
- Closing date for appeals for Richmond Council’s secondary schools to be received by the Admissions Section.
April to June 2012

Monday 2 July 2012
