Funding for Voluntary Organisations

The Council has an annual cash budget of about £1.5 million to support the work of local voluntary organisations. In addition it invests over £6 million through contracts, partnership funds and support in kind, mainly in the form of rent free accommodation.

It provides support in the following ways:
